Tips for Effective Sales Emails
- Personalize the first line: Reference their company, role, or a recent event. Generic openers get deleted.
- Keep it under 150 words: Short emails get 2x more replies than long ones.
- One clear CTA: Ask one question or propose one action. Multiple asks reduce response rates.
- Use a strong subject line: 4-7 words, specific, curiosity-driven.
- Follow up 3-5 times: 80% of sales require at least 5 follow-ups. Most reps stop at 1.
